Quaint Cottage Charm

Despite our last-minute booking, the hotel room was nicely furnished and clean, with the added convenience of tea & coffee facilities and an incredibly comfortable bed. However, the dampness in the room was off-putting. We were fortunate enough to secure another room after initially being told the hotel was fully booked for the night.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was nicely furnished and clean, but the underground cellar setup with creepy decor was unsettling for someone like me with claustrophobia. Despite the discomfort, the service was polite and helpful, especially when I arrived early and needed to work remotely. The location was perfect for my needs, although the dining experience was lacking in attentive staff. The overall facilities were decent, but the atmosphere could be improved.
